Galderma Restylane Defyne

Restylane Defyne, a dermal filler based on stabilized hyaluronic acid with a concentration of 20 mg/mL, is used to smooth nasolabial folds and marionette lines, as well as to restore volume to the cheeks. The 0.3% lidocaine in the formulation ensures a comfortable and pain-free procedure.

Optimal Balance Technology is used in the production of the gel. This technology involves varying the number of cross-links in the hyaluronic acid molecules. The more cross-links there are, the denser the gel is and the longer it lasts in the tissues. The thick gel retains its shape for a long time and does not migrate within the tissues. Restylane Define is characterized by a large number of intermolecular bonds, so the results last quite a long time—from 6 to 9 months. In some patients, depending on skin type, genetics, and lifestyle, the effects of the procedure may last for up to a year.
