Merz Belotero Intense Lidocaine

Belotero Intense – the highest-density filler in the Belotero line for performing contouring procedures. It is used for volumetric facial modeling, filling deep folds and wrinkles, and correcting pronounced atrophic scars. The product is designed for injection into the deep layers of the dermis.  

Features of Belotero Intense

The filler is based on cross-linked hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid) of non-animal origin. It is produced using a patented technology for creating a cohesive poly-dense matrix (CDM). This method allows for a homogeneous gel with zones of varying density within the Belotero Intense structure, ensuring even distribution of the gel and preventing its migration from the injection sites. A distinctive feature is a natural effect even with volumetric correction. The filler contains hyaluronic acid at a concentration of 25.5 mg/ml and a phosphate buffer (pH 7), providing the necessary skin pH level, which enhances the procedure’s effectiveness and reduces the risk of swelling. Thanks to the high degree of hyaluronic acid purification, the product does not trigger allergic reactions.  

Effectiveness of Belotero Intense

It effectively restores lost soft tissue volume in the face and corrects deep wrinkles. Subcutaneous gel injections have proven effective for eliminating furrows and folds in the forehead, face, neck, décolleté, and for enhancing the chin, cheeks, and lips. Due to its high density, the gel degrades slowly. The aesthetic result achieved with Belotero Intense lasts about 9–12 months and depends on the individual characteristics of the patient.
