Merz Belotero Soft Lidocaine

Belotero Soft is a light hyaluronic acid-based filler from the well-known German corporation Merz Pharma. It is used to correct fine wrinkles and shallow folds. The intradermal filler Belotero Soft is applied in contouring and biorevitalization procedures. It is injected superficially or into the middle layers of the skin.

Features of Belotero Soft

Belotero Soft gel is produced using the patented Cohesive Polydensified Matrix (CPM) technology. This technology makes it possible to obtain a monophasic polydensified gel, which is a homogeneous mass with areas of single and double cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) of varying density. This technology gives the gel unique properties: areas with a single degree of cross-linking provide high plasticity and, as a result, ease of injection and even distribution of the filler, while areas with double cross-linking ensure a long-lasting effect. The filler has a low density, with an HA concentration of 20 mg/ml. The composition includes a phosphate buffer (pH 7), which maintains the required pH level of the skin. The filler is biodegradable and is completely inactivated over time.

Effectiveness of Belotero Soft

The product has proven effective for delicate correction in areas with thin skin (for example, for correcting wrinkles at the outer corners of the eyes and around the lips). The effect of Belotero Soft is noticeable immediately after the procedure. In addition to filling wrinkles, the filler moisturizes the skin, maintaining its firmness and freshness during biorevitalization. The result lasts 9–12 months and depends on the individual characteristics of the patient.
