IBSA Profhilo H+L

Profhilo's action is aimed at restoring tissue volume and supporting structures. The composition has a multi-level effect on the dermis and helps achieve a pronounced lifting effect. The result is achieved much faster than with most other biorevitalizers and lasts longer.

Due to its viscosity and fluidity, the product spreads very quickly in the tissues, evenly filling voids without leaving lumps or clumps. Another feature of the composition is minimal tissue resistance during injections. This allows avoiding the use of local anesthetics.

The product is not classified as a filler but is more of a stimulating and remodeling agent. It gradually initiates tissue regeneration processes, affecting the condition of the extracellular matrix, creating a supporting framework, and activating the production of new fibroblasts.

The effect of Profhilo is achieved by triggering natural rejuvenation processes, rather than forming fibrous tissue or a reaction to a foreign body. The efficacy of the product has been proven in several studies. For example, in 2015, the potential of the composition for tissue regeneration was studied. The research demonstrated that Profhilo is more effective than pure low-molecular-weight or high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. The product showed greater stability and a low risk of inflammatory reaction.

In another published study, it was proven that Profhilo activates the synthesis of type I and III collagen in fibroblasts. The data confirmed that the positive effect typically lasts for 6–8 months.

Indications:

- Sagging, dry, and peeling skin.
- Loss of fat tissue (e.g., after weight loss).
- Decreased elasticity and turgor.
- Dark circles under the eyes.
- Pronounced age-related and mimic wrinkles.
- Post-acne, pigmentation.
- Skin scars.
- Tissue ptosis, uneven facial contour.
- Pronounced photoaging.

The product is suitable for facial correction, as well as anatomically complex areas: neck, submandibular zone, etc. The recommended age of patients is 25–75 years.

Correction method

The so-called bio-aesthetic point (BAP) technique is used to administer the biorevitalizer. Five points are marked on each half of the face, selected based on anatomical structure. Zones without major blood vessels and nerve branches are used.

In BAP, 0.2 ml of the product is injected into the deep dermal layer at each point. A total of 2 ml is used for the face.
