The company Allergan developed Juvederm Volux using Vycross technology. The new formula of the active substance features a synthesis of low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid molecules, which allows achieving a homogeneous, soft, and elastic gel structure. This technology makes it possible to produce an active substance with bonds not only between long molecular chains but also between short chains. As a result, this allows the substance to remain in the skin longer.

        Lidocaine (0.3%)

Non-animal-derived hyaluronic acid is responsible for attracting and retaining moisture in skin cells. As a filler, hyaluronic acid replenishes the deficit of soft tissues, promotes deep hydration and skin elasticity, and initiates and activates metabolic processes in the skin.

The acidity of the product’s phosphate buffer is pH 7.2, which reduces the risk of swelling during and after the procedure by stabilizing hyaluronic acid, so the effect of Juvederm Volux injections can last up to 24 months.
