Merz Belotero Balance Lidocaine

Belotero Balance is a hyaluronic acid–based filler from the well-known German manufacturer Merz Pharma. It is used in injectable contouring procedures to correct moderate and deep wrinkles. The filler has proven effective for lip volume enhancement, filling shallow atrophic scars, for example after acne or other skin injuries. It is intended for injection into the mid or deep layers of the dermis.

Features of Belotero Balance

The dermal filler Belotero Balance is a high-density product containing 22.5 mg/ml of hyaluronic acid. The composition is enriched with a phosphate buffer (pH 7), which maintains the necessary skin pH level and reduces the risk of swelling during and after the procedure. The filler is produced using the cohesive polydensified matrix (CPM) method, which is based on the gradual binding of hyaluronate molecules, making it possible to obtain a filler with optimal viscoelastic properties. Thanks to its properties, the gel forms a kind of dense framework of the active substance within the skin tissues, which is fully compatible with the patient’s tissues and does not cause allergies or complications. The filler is fully biodegradable and is naturally eliminated from the body.

Filler effectiveness

It effectively fills glabellar lines and tear troughs, nasolabial folds, expression wrinkles, restores lost volume, and corrects the contour of the lips. Belotero Balance has a pronounced lifting effect. The first visible result appears immediately after the contouring procedure, but becomes most noticeable after 7–10 days. The result lasts 9–12 months and depends on the individual characteristics of the patient.
